Qualifications

The Seattle Snooker Open Qualifier tournament is open to all levels of competition and is designed to give players the opportunity to qualify for the Seattle Snooker Open hosted by Ox Billiards in Seattle, Washington June 22nd – Monday, June 24th, 2024.

Format

Double elimination competition. Matches will be best of 3 frames. Frames are player regulated with official on site. Tournament is limited to 8 players.

Rules

Competition will follow World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association Rules, self-officiated (unless otherwise posted). Clarification or questions on rules will be settled by the Tournament Director. Prior 2024 paid entry winners into the Seattle Snooker Open are not eligible to play in this tournament.

Warm-Up Time: Reserved tables will be available for registered players Friday evening and Saturday morning prior to 10am for warm up time.

Dress Code: Casual or formal.

Entry

Entry Fee: $150.
Spectators: Free.
Parking: Free.

Food & Beverage

Snacks and beverages are available at the club by donation. Players & guests are welcome to bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Food may be purchased prior to the event at Area Restaurants. Pizza may be ordered and delivered from Figaro’s Pizza. Club is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, oven and coffee/tea maker.

Cash Prize (Up to $150 depending on number of entries)

3rd & 4th Place
Cash Prize (Up to $100 depending on number of entries)

Note: The $200 entry prize has no redeemable value and is forfeited to the next available player if the winning player does not enter the Seattle Snooker Open.

How to Play Snooker

Qualifier Locations

Players may qualify for the Seattle Snooker Open at one of the following locations. Once a player qualifies (by winning 1st or 2nd place), they may no longer play at any of the other qualifying tournaments. If a player doesn’t qualify the first time, they are encouraged to enter into another qualifying tournament.
