Special Recognition

Thanks to all the players who took on the challenge of the 2024 Washington State Snooker Championship. Although there were many great matches, there are a few players who deserve special recognition, who did not make it to the championship rounds, but played exceptionally well in the tournament.

Bill Parsons: Bill played exceptionally well with several wins on the A side of the bracket. His only defeat came at the hands of the eventual tournament champion, Tony Sang. Bill had an opportunity to finish in the championship rounds but eventually withdrew due to time constraints.
Kevin Waden: Kevin was Bill Parsons team-mate. Both came down from North Vancouver, BC to compete in the tournament and were vetted by Dave Burney. Kevin played exceptionally well with several wins in the tournament before eventually being defeated by 2nd place winner, Vincent Draper.
Greg Prendergast: After an early first round defeat, Greg made an impressive comeback with several wins on the B side of the bracket and ultimately ended up in 4th place scoring several points for his team and capturing the Team Championship Title.
