Qualifications
This tournament is designed to give new and beginner level snooker players an opportunity to gain experience playing snooker in a tournament format. Players are determined to have a basic to mid-level understanding of the rules and strategy of snooker and have an average High Break of under 15 points. No prior tournament champions allowed. Final entry qualifications will be determined by Carl Hancock of In The Pocket Pool & Snooker Club. If you have not been previously evaluated on your snooker skill level, please contact your Tournament Director to establish your qualifications.
Format
Tables: 12′ Riley Aristocrat Tournament (2 tables)
Format: Double elimination.
Race: 2 frames on the A side and 1 frame on the B side.
Officiating: Frames are player regulated with official on site.
Player Cap: 8 Players
Rules: WPBSA (World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association) rules will be followed for all tournaments: WPBSA.Com/Rules. The beginners’ level will have a maximum of 3 snooker fouls.
Entry Fee: $60 cash at the time of check-in (Includes $10 admin fee). Parking: Free.
Food & Beverage: Players and spectators are welcome to bring their own food and beverage. Club is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and oven.
